Thanks for the advice, PulpZ. Dealer put one on and I didn't notice until I got home. I'm going to put the dealer advertisement rear license plate holder back on

Thanks for the advice, PulpZ. Dealer put one on and I didn't notice until I got home. I'm going to put the dealer advertisement rear license plate holder back on and then ask them politely to remove their cheesy emblem...which by the way, fades to a sickly looking white color after a couple of years.

I have taken off several dealer emblems off my new cars with WD40- it loosens the glue w/o damage to paint. This time around I told em just don't stick one on my Z to avoid the hassle

The same thing happened to the original owner of my car when he had the shop who tinted his car removed his dealer emblem. He took it to the delearship and they warrantied it. He demanded a new bumper and not just a repaint and they granted his request

so they just sanded down the original bumper and repainted it.

yah, depending on the adhesive i would even encourage freezing the adhesive and shearing it off using fish line. just use compressed air duster up-side-down.

Use touchup paint and do as best as possible. Believe me you are the only one thats gonna notice it. If anyone ask you what happened tell them it came from doing 180 miles per hour and the paint blew off.
