nissan emblem took paint off!!

decide to take off the nelson (dealership) emblem off of the right rear bumper. heated it just alittle with my heat gun. pealed off just fine. i then took some

Default nissan emblem took paint off!!

decide to take off the nelson (dealership) emblem off of the right rear bumper. heated it just alittle with my heat gun. pealed off just fine. i then took some goo gone and started to wipe... when i was done alittle bit of paint was missing. can i simple touch this up? will it be noticable? and or will my full warranty cover something like that. guyz please let me know thanx.

You did quite a bit of damage there. Probably got it too hot. I'd have that fixed professionally..

Maybe $200 if they can spot repair it. It's got to be feathered in, painted and blended, then cleared and polished. More to do the whole bumper. Next time you do this, just leave it in the sun for awhile and cut the emblem off with dental floss or fishing line. Heat and prying ripped the paint off. Get a professional estimate.

I have a question though, he removed a "dealership sticker," which therefore is not part of the original car. Could the dealership be blamed though for adding this sticker/emblem to the car?
