Has anyone done this and or how do you think it would look? I was thinking of removing the black grill slates between the fangs. Just cut them out and

Removing the inner grill slates
Has anyone done this and or how do you think it would look? I was thinking of removing the black grill slates between the fangs. Just cut them out and file them down neatly to look clean. Any thoughts?
