I'd like to see someone try it... maybe with glossifier. Speaking of Glossifier, after about a month of waiting I finally got some shipped. Gonna wait for a defect on the wheels/emblems/door handles though before I try it out on top of black. I know this stuff is somewhat easy to take off but it still takes time trying to get the tiny spots on the wheels etc. |

Now if guys were using it to paint stripes on their hood that's a different story. |
Im just not a fan of the flat black look. Is there plasti dip that comes out in a glossy black? If so, then Im interested.

Would anyone be willing to buy me severals cans of the stuff and ship it to Australia?
Local resellers here are gouging them for about $35/can... |

For anyone else looking at this thread. You should newspaper the entire front and back of your car. You would be surprised how far specs of that can go. Easy to get off, but if you're like me, just put the extra newspaper on to prevent it.

I had to clay bar my car to get some off that I had missed a couple weeks ago. |

Good luck. I think I'll go stock up some more cans. |

OK two things, newspaper your entire car, this **** gets everywhere.
And second, slather this on. Do 4 or 5 coats. If you put it on this it doesn't come off well. I have to redo my entire rear because of this. Just do yourself a favor and slather this on THICK. Also, I don't know who said it comes off easy, but it doesn't. I wanted to take this off my rear emblems to try again, and it doesn't come off the lettering easy. There are little black spots all over it that I can't get. I'm actually fairly angry at how not flawless this went considering how many people posted on here. I'm shocked no one was run into these issues yet. I honestly would just take it off if I thought I could. But since I don't think I can I'm going to coat over it thicker and hope it looks good. |
Yeah you have to put it on really thick and let it dry completely before trying to pull it off. I had like 11 total coats on my door handles and it was super easy to peel off the next day.
|
I did 3 coats and it wasn't thick enough to stretch so I could pull it off. Hopefully my second attempt goes better. Still angry. Wish someone would have mentioned that lol.
