Let's just say "the grass is greener on the other side". If the Z came with a red ignition button, people would be buying the clear/orange lit button as a mod...just like some Z owners buy JDM clear tail lights, and some Impreza owners put red overlays over their clear tails...
For me, my 40th have red accents inside, which go well with the red ignition button.
