Been meaning to take some tint pics for the thread here...

- Quantum phase shifting carbon monoliquid tint.
- 20db gain from 1kHz to 58Ghz for increased radio reception
- UV and IR absorbant film creates sustainable resources for future generations

Not bad for 5% all around 3M film eh?

Anyhow on to the pics. I was out with my friend and his Z06 and unfortunately his cars are in some of the pics. Man that car is sick (the good kind of sick

They are bastards in VA. I had 35% on the fronts and got pulled over after about 6 months. I had to go to court and get it taken off. 50% is legal on the front windows in Virginia.

Just got it tinted today. Will take better pictures tomorrow. I just took the pictures just as the shop was done tinting my car. 5% back windows, 35% Front window, 5% strip on front winshield. I'm just counting the days till I get pulled over here in lovely california.

I heard military bases don't allow more than 50% tint. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have pictures of 50%?

I know this is a late response, but Ive seen many instances of RIDICULOUSLY dark tint, on every single base Ive been on. Base cops are fairly lenient against that. Speeding and drunk driving, however...

BS Bases are supposed to follow state law on stuff like that. And even then only on cars that are registered locally. If youre registered out of state you can get away with a lot, I know from experience.

I'm wanting 5% all the way around and to black out the door handles and powdercoat the rims black too =) quite a project i have ahead of me..

I just got mine done this afternoon. 50% sides and 22% rear

The guy at the tint shop was pretty nice and wrote on the receipt that the front sides are only 70% instead of the 50% they gave me. 70% is the legal limit for front side windows in California. This way if I get pulled over, I'll just show them that it was done within legal limit.

I'll have pics up tommorow. I think it looks pretty good with 50/22% and at night there isn't much contrast front vs. rear. During the day, there is slight contrast but if I went darker on the front, nobody would believe me if I said it was 70%
