You got the right cord. It's a very tight fit. Make sure the probes are flat and then slide them into the back of the wiring harness. You might have

You got the right cord. It's a very tight fit. Make sure the probes are flat and then slide them into the back of the wiring harness. You might have to move the wires around to make some room for the probe to slide in. It's a PITA. Might need some needle nose pliers also to push the probes in tight. Be careful you can break the probes easily. I found placing the probes in the top part of the harness worked better for me... Keep trying you'll get it.
