yah, i suppose if the fitment is subpar (gap), you can get those 3M CF sheets, make a 7mm width stripe and run it along the butting end of the diffuser to close up the gap with the bumper.
then it would look very clean and the curvature will visibly fool 99% of the people who see the diffuser as it will just appear like difference in light reflection. they wont know there is vinyl there...other than you. hahaha.
