I have.
Used to work at an LPG storage field and we received fire training every year. Emptied many 30# powder extinguishers, a few of the big powder rigs on wheels, some large gas extinguishers, and can run a fire hose by myself if need be. At my age, I wouldn't want to do the latter, but I could. ![]() Even a 30# extinguisher won't do much good on a car fire if you don't use it right. Even worse with a gas (CO2, Halon, etc) extinguisher, especially if there is any wind. The small extinguisher you find in cars is NOT meant to put out a fire of any size - it's to knock the fire down enough so you can escape or be rescued.

I've had one laying around for a while that I haven't got around to installing since most of my interior is ripped out at the moment, once it all goes back in I'll be installing it in that little section behind the passenger seat, fits almost perfectly.
