I actually have one of those used in one of the blanks for mine; got it from ebay from around $10-15.

Hey I like that. Have the boom knob on one of them and this would be perfect for another. I'll see if I can find the eBay listing.

Any idea how many amps they put out?

Here's the listing where I picked mine up at:

FOR NISSAN 350Z/370Z/SENTRA/TITAN DUAL USB POWER ADAPTER 12V DIRECT PNP UPGRADE | eBay

...as for how many amps it puts out, no idea; the most I've ever had connected to them were two phones.

Well, if you want to pay $25 more for the exact same thing with different text and lighting that you'll never notice then by all means, go for it

Well, the e-bay one looks the price. AS they say you get what you pay for.

Like I said: different price and lighting (by lighting, I mean LED color)... it's a dual USB port; cheap to manufacture and everything beyond that is markup. But, hey, if you want to pay $50 for something that doesn't cost $5 to manufacture to have a different sticker on it then I'm not going to stop you. Just trying to save you all some money.

Well if you want to insist, I think the more expensive one are "cleaner" more OEM looking.

The doors fro the USB ports are a particular difference on the more expensive ones, they are smaller/thinner and do not overlap the edges like the E-bay one do.

Versus.

Have to agree. Those are important attention to details.

One looks much more OEM. You get enough cheap easy looking pieces and your car will start looking like it was built from the accessory idle at Vatozone.

You can tap the cigarette lighter socket on the passenger side dash (under glove box)
On my car I removed that little socket entirely.

I tapped the socket from the center console. I did similar to kenchan and just removed it entirely (center console, not passenger side).
