I did contact him, I sent this exact picture, his reply: "Yes, you cannot use the factory under tray as-is. Some guys build a custom under tray using aluminum composite panel (sign board)...but most just leave it without the under tray. Hope that helps!" |

Okay Fly1 pm'd me and stated
"Hey Joe... Saw your post on the forum. We don't reproduce the bumper w/ the under tray for a reason. We used to, but: 1. customers complained about cutting an access point for oil changes 2. the added weight would make the bumper sag over time. Thus, we cut that out as most customers preferred. Hope that helps... -Lohit" So I guess I'm on my own to make an under tray. The shop said they'd do their best to secure the OEM one so I have some protection. Thanks for the replies and concerns guys, first ever post, you guys seem to watch out for one another. |
