I can't really comment on the price. It is a one off kind of job, he quoted me a price and is sticking to it, but it has been way more time and work than expected. I'm sure he wouldn't do it again for what I'm paying.

He was having problems getting the vent to form to all the contours with the fender off the car and had to do it with it on the car and eventually ended up having to make a vertical cut as seen to make it work out. The plan all along was to use glass to fill in and make the vents. I imagine it will hold the shape better than welding and adding heat.

If all goes as planned, I'll pick her up Saturday.
