I haven't had any issues with the mirrors being sub-par or anything. The blind spots took a little getting used to, but that's it. I prefer the "I'm driving past you so I know I can get over now" lane-changing technique.
![]() I got in my gf's 07 G35 coupe for the first time since I got my Z yesterday. I had no idea that the mirrors on it were so much smaller than mine. I believe the width is the same, but they are a whole lot shorter. Less blind spots in that car though, so it's a trade off.

I like the look of the stock mirror, it just needs to be about an inch smaller and lower so that is doesn't have blind spots while cruising parking lots or making low speed turns.

Really, really awful. That is possibly the most RICE-y thing I've ever seen.

Great article Cliff! I have been using this method for years, and it works beautifully, especially if you keep aware of cars in the right or left lane relative to you, that are speeding past you into the blind spot...... you can track them from the rear view mirror, to the side view mirror to the edge of your peripheral vision outside the window.

well... they might work if you did something about the carbon fiber plate. that is grade Si rice material right there but by the time you had real mounts made craftsquare will have their mirrors done.
