Seat belt color change

I just used a pair of dykes/wire cutters and cut the belt out As for where it attaches on the top bolt ,it has a lock washer that you can

As for where it attaches on the top bolt ,it has a lock washer that you can hold with plyers and just back the bolt out

Remove the part and resemble

The driver belt needs to be going through the seat hole on the left, not around the seat. It'll be much safer and secure.

Tried your suggestion it did make a difference the belts retracts and functions much better gives you that confidence.
