I was reading that there are quite a few companies that offer full carbon driveshafts.... I wonder if its a worthwhile upgrade..... Less rotational mass=better power transfer to wheels...... Looks

I was reading that there are quite a few companies that offer full carbon driveshafts.... I wonder if its a worthwhile upgrade..... Less rotational mass=better power transfer to wheels...... Looks like you could pick one up for about $1500

The inertia required to spin our driveshaft is pretty low, it isn't like a wheel or a flywheel. It would be similar to trying to improve horsepower by reducing the weight of your brakes. I don't see any notable gains from what we already have.

Spend your money on a lightweight clutch/flywheel instead. You will definitely feel that.
