So if I understand what your saying, Nissan will keep paying dealer after dealer (assuming subsequent dealers can't fix it either) to correct the shoddy repairs of previous dealers until one of them gets it right and then go back to each dealer and deny their claim? Why did Sherwood refuse to fix it? Somehow, I don't think so. You go back to the first dealer and have them correct the problems (I bet their is more than one mechanic at the dealership and one of them knows how to do it right) as the Sherwood dealer told MHCOSS and have Nissan send out their rep to sort out the issues. However, it appears the OP refuses to go back to the dealership and sort it out.

No, they won't deny claims to those dealers, they will pay them. They will usually pay everyone as it costs more to sort out the issues than to pay the dealers.

The dealer did the crappy work acting on behalf of nissan. NNA owns the mistake and will likely advise OP to take it to another dealer. That's what they did when I went through this.

This post still kinda riles me. How many times do I have to take my broken car back to the same dealership and ask them to fix it before it gets fixed? Its going on the 7-8th time into the shop for the SAME issues.

Doing a half-assed rad test like you did doesn't produce any valid results. Take your car to a radiator specialty shop and have a pressure test done the proper way. If it doesn't check out OK, get their diagnosis and repair estimate and take it back to your dealer and call NNA if they won't do anything about it. At least you will have an independent diagnosis of your problem in your hand.

It gets super complicated fo sho lol. yeah i passed the combustion gas test and I dont have coolant/oil contamination nor am i burning any. In my case I know that the gasket is blown because once the engine reaches 190degrees it pushes ridiculous amounts of coolant into the over flow and then begins leaking gas into the cooling system so I probably have a head that is warping at temp and a minor leak that is one way from one of the cylindersinto the coolant jacket. Your head gasket is fuxed if after you shut your car off the hoses are still rock hard and it geysers coolant and gas out the cap after day 3 of sitting lol

Also often threating to sue is enough, get a lawyer to draft up the documents but instead of filing them take them to the dealership. once they know you arent F'ing around they will work with you. Especially if you talk just loud enough that a good portion of the front lobby can hear you, friday afternoons work great as it is a high sales time and should be full of people that they don't want to know that they suck.
