Default Exhaust Gasket Question

Quick one for you guys:

I picked up a used Invidia Q300 off a board member. He didn't have all the gaskets (only like 3).

Question is: are any stock exhaust gaskets usable with the Invidia? Or should I just take the pipes to the local parts and pick out new gaskets?

Gracias!

Either pick up new gaskets or use a high-temp silicone gasket maker. If you use the silicone just make sure to follow the cure instructions.

Tony at Fast Intentions actually recommends using the red RTV silicone on the manifold-to-HFC connections, so they can take a fair amount of heat. Use either the red or copper.

I have a similar question along the same line. Can I reuse the gasket that came off the used Nismo exhaust I purchased? Or is it better to purchase new ones? Thanks!

Usually you can reuse the gaskets without issue. I have done it before with a variety of cars/exhausts without issue.

I think the blue and red would work. The red is for higher heat but the blue is safe for o2 sensors and good for up to 260*C. Also the red is hard to find. The blue sells at Ace Hardware and I'm actually going to be using it on mine tomorrow as I believe I have a leak from the header to test pipe.

Just picked up the last tube of red rtv at Walmart for less than $4. All out of blue. Apparently the red stuff is sensor safe too.
