Mobil 1 0w40 Users?

To my knowledge, only the VHR motors really have a serious oil temp issue. The heads generate a lot of heat on the valve train and the only coolant up

To my knowledge, only the VHR motors really have a serious oil temp issue.

The heads generate a lot of heat on the valve train and the only coolant up there is the oil itself.

There's a steel-on-steel junction in the valve train that heats up bad. Look at any disassembly pics of our heads, you'll see where the steel has turned blue from the heat near that junction.
