i ran mobil1's 0W-40 awhile back and noticed the oil warmed up much quicker in the mornings. buuuuuut i also noticed i burned more of it everytime i checked my oil level which is about once every two weeks.
i went back to 5w-30 and ill stay with it. redline was great too but you HAVE to be religious about changing it every 3k miles. after that the oil looks like crap! |
