IMO if you're going to go to the trouble of custom mounting an oil cooler I'd say ditch the air to oil cooler and get a water to oil cooler.

IMO if you're going to go to the trouble of custom mounting an oil cooler I'd say ditch the air to oil cooler and get a water to oil cooler. No block off plate needed and oil temps would come up to operating temp quicker after cold start.
