the distance from the oil filter to the front of the radiator and the distance from the oil filter to the bottom of the trunk area may only be 1 to 3 feet different. I'm thinking 2 more feet of oil hoses wouldnt cause that much of a problem.
It also might eliminate the need for an oil cooler block off plate in cooler temps. (like one of these...
