Engine oil question :)

Mobil 1 is fine to use. Synthetics should be fine to upwards of 400 degrees

my bad, i thought you were talking about the brand. da** thats a lot of miles. Heres a good Q. so the car isnt going to reach 300F on the strip or on a drive but autox and road racing is different...ive herd many complaint about hitting 300+ after only 10min-15min and that is rediculous. so ppl that do autox and roadrace with no oil cooler or ppl, that for some reason hit these hi temps on the strip( i hit 210 max) should they try the 15w40 or just a heavier thicker oil?? also the ppl that are using F.I. setups...should/can they use that thicker oil and NOT lose power?? i was thinkin about this at work, just a im curious to know question
