Default engine break in question (350 mile trip)

Whats up DUDES!!

My question is this:

About 2 weeks after i purchase my new Z, I am moving. The drive is about 350 miles. It is an automatic, how do i need to go about driving it this 350 miles? I read from the man himself that he switched between 5th and 6th gear every ten minutes. How does one do this with an automatic? (im a newb)
Any input is appreciated!!

During the first 1,200 miles (2,000 km), follow these recommendations to obtain maximum engine performance and ensure the future reliability and economy of your new vehicle. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in shortened engine life and reduced engine performance.
  • Avoid driving for long periods at constant speed, either fast or slow. Do not run the engine over 4,000 rpm.
  • Do not accelerate at full throttle in any gear.
  • Avoid quick starts.
  • Avoid hard braking as much as possible.

You don't have to do it every 10 minutes. Just do it every half an hour.

STEP 1

Put the car in sport mode

STEP 2

Use the Lightweight Magnesium Paddle shifters

STEP 3
Have fun. Don't get carried away (keep it under 4K). The reason I say this because it's VERY easy to get carried away with those paddles

That's a kicka$$ deal. Go for it!!! Make sure they don't add any "extra" expances.

This is totally off topic, it just flashed in my head when I saw 350 miles of driving. Just in case you haven't checked your tire pressure....

Hahaha! And remember, the first 15 miles your car had on the odometer when you got it were spent at full throttle between 5,000 and 7,500 rpm from other fools on test rides!
