It comes and goes. Some owners switched gear fluid, and it helped them quite a bit. Try not to be too hard on the gearbox by slamming it in gears.

It comes and goes. Some owners switched gear fluid, and it helped them quite a bit. Try not to be too hard on the gearbox by slamming it in gears. I did that with the 350Z out of anger from the clunkiness, and it made it worse even after replacing the transmission. I've been pretty patient with my gear box, and it feels great after a year.
What's more interesting, which could be a placebo effect, is how much easy it is to shift and drive smoothly after getting lightweight pulleys. O_o
