I'm looking for an easier install and just plain ol' simple "charge of power." Yes, the turbos will give more power, but we really don’t want to drag with this car or even track it (not yet at least.) A single supercharger that I can actually get to is something we rather have. Plus, we never had a supercharger before. Just want something different and looks good (with a lot of power.) I have not heard of any bad things about superchargers for the z34.

This is the reason for asking. Let me know your opinions.
I will sell u my stillen supercharger but u might want to search for all the failed results and problems with this supercharger first. Check out the gtm supercharger much better customer service and support.

OK, I checked and I read the FI about Stillen's supercharger, especially your issues. I see you can't wait for tune #8, but i bet that is because you have your hands tied some. I do feel bad for your situation. I do. I worked on computer hardware at Blue Cross Blue Shield here in SC, and I can tell you that anything that is really complicated like an ecu/cpu has a mind of its own sometimes.

Anyway, I would not tune our car with a supercharger or turbos. I would have a specialist do it who is also certified dealer. I rather have the tune on the certified dealer's shoulders than on mine. That's why I would pay to have this mod done. Just like all our complicated mods for our car. If I don’t fully understand how something works, then if I work on it, I keep my fingers crossed.

(Note, I did not read anything about a certified specialist/dealer working on your supercharger) I’m not saying that it was not in the threads, I’m just saying I did not see it. If I missed it, then it is my bad.

I actually would purchase your used but “good” supercharger. I saw you posted that suggestion before. I did not see anyone hop on your offer. Did you give a price? I truly believe that you are a very honest person, because you are warning me of your supercharger even though you would like to sell it. So, that tells me you would make a horrible used car salesmen.

Thanks for all your posts on this subject.

All shops have their shares of ups and downs with product and customer service, I think as long as you do your research and you as a person feel comfortable with the shop / product, you'll be ok.

I'll be frank; The VQ motor is truly an NA motor. I've seen way too many FI builds go down regardless of how well they were built. I even had an FI 350z, and can speak of the ups and downs first hand on a basic kit. Stick with NA, that's what the car's built for and that's the way you'll keep it reliable.
Take it from an experienced Forced Fed Z owner...

Yes it is, I wouldn't even need the Uprev cable or software (custom tune for the win!)

Did I accidentally turn this into a classified ad thread?

That does sound great. I would if I could, but I don't have time. I would need it hot off the press and ready to go.
