Default New Nissan Supercharged V8 with 490HP?

I've been doing research on various options for my car. Coming from a turbo background, I feel I've been there and done that. My attention has been drawn to finding an FX50 engine. In my research, I've found something interesting regarding nissan's engine offerings. I don't know if it is true, but it is a forced induction nissan engine that could possibly fit in the 370Z with minor modifications.

The next step for the Infiniti FX50 is the FX50 Sport, due out sometime in the 2010 model year. It will keep the 5.0 liter engine, but supercharge it to 490 horsepower.

I haven't seen or heard anything about any supercharged V8s from Nissan. The source may have its news crossed up with the new 2010 Range Rover Sport that's supposed to have a 500HP supercharged V8.

You know, I was at my lakehouse the other weekend and I saw a new FX50 with an S logo next to the name. I had heard about the sport version, but I didn't think it was out and didn't think anything about it. I don't know whether the owner put an "S" logo on the car just to make it seem like something it's not, but it had banana clip infiniti calipers on it, big *** rotors, and a a different type of infiniti OEM chrome wheel on it than the 09 FX50S have. It sure didn't look like a stock 09 FX50S, but I doubt it was anything special.

Otherwise, that sounds like a pretty cool idea. I think I would keep the VQ though, can't get enough of that sound..
