My guess would be that the gear is not going in all the way. Don't know how the linkage works on the Z but I'd be surprised if there were

My guess would be that the gear is not going in all the way. Don't know how the linkage works on the Z but I'd be surprised if there were any external adjustments. If so, probably out of adjustment. Maybe something fell in to interfere with the stick moving all the way into gear. Only other thing would be clutch plate put in backwards. I've heard it's possible but don't know if it just makes noise or has other issues if reversed.
