Stock fuel pump hat failures?

Pretty sure my fuel starve incident on the street about a year ago also involved my top hat breaking. Just shy of 100K mostly highway miles. Plenty of hard driving

Just shy of 100K mostly highway miles. Plenty of hard driving during that time though - never encountered fuel starve before the top hat broke.
