Ok full disclosure I wasn't launching it in 2nd just dropped from 3rd after pulling a u-turn so we were rolling fairly fast which is why I didn't drop to 1st. Was still really surprised when the clutch just slipped instead of pulling.
Have had several cars though where first was useless though and have never had a sports car that would slip the clutch in 2nd versus light the tires or bog the motor. Kerbeck has a brand new C7 for 46K Corvette by Kerbeck | Corvettes for Sale | #1 Largest Corvette Dealer! I've seen many others on lots around here for upper 40's after rebates as well while looking for a new truck. A nismo tech which still isn't optioned as well as a base C7 $45K Only 1K separation there. |
