What the heck was inside my differential?

I think the mystery was solved... the diff drain bolt has a magnet on it, and his fell off and stuck to the bottom of the housing... how all the

I think the mystery was solved... the diff drain bolt has a magnet on it, and his fell off and stuck to the bottom of the housing... how all the goop solidified on it might be another mystery.
