Well I'm talking about the black piece. Wish I had a video out it swings around the pole back and forth going right through the middle of it. What could it be?

Nissan thought the car was too light... lol but as mentioned above I guess it could be for some type of balancing.

Looks like some sort of weight, which are often used to help NVH. Interesting that it is only on the convertible.
