i've taken off my bumper a bunch of times for oil changes/filter change/installs and it goes right back on with the same fitment it had prior. i think you'll be

		Nissan 370Z Forum > Nissan 370Z Tech Area > Engine & Drivetrain

i think you'll be fine unless you're that anal that a 1/2 a MM differnece in bumper to fender gap sets you off.

just take it off and do the work you'll be ok lol
