Default Random Throttle/Power Hesitations

So the past few days I've been noticing some odd/very faint hesitations while accelerating. It's hard to describe the sounds I occasionally hear, almost like a wire rubbing a belt or something. The Z will also go from driving smoothly to faint skips like a heart beating fast and then returning to normal. Any ideas, the main change I can say is that about a week and a half ago I installed the gen 3 stillen CAI. Never had anything happen before, any ideas are appreciated. I've looked around the engine to see if I see anything loose or rubbing but hard to tell. What would cause the engine to feel like a slight loss of footing alllmost like a transmission slip/jerk but being a manual obviously not the case. Help my brothers!!

It isn't a "limp mode" right? I was recheck all the clamps to make sure you don't have any air leaks, which may definitely be attributed to "bucks."

Yeah that may be the culprit, looking further they aren't straight flush. They do seem to have a small bubble like gap between the tube connector. There's no chance of me installing the wrong tube sides is there? Not in limp mode, usually only makes the weird sounds for first 5 minutes of ride and the bucks just happen randomly spaced out the longer the drive duration mostly in the beginning when they taken frequently

Thanks for checking up but had to leave to Houston visit fam and just got back. After the drive back to Tennessee I guess it gave enough time for the computer check engine light to come on

Still haven't resolved it. I took them out changed the sensors, I even checked to see if I put them on the wrong sides. If you see the tubes got a dent I'm assuming from the driving I've been doing and it sucked in the pipe. I got a obd reader now so I'll check for the code tomorrow. I'm in the process if installing my audio system so the chairs are out and carpet pulled for insulation. So it'll have to wait until I get everything back on before I put battery back on. Any suggestions on why the pipe bent in?

Wink

Sorry, but engine vacuum did not suck in that pipe. Extra tight hose clamps can do that.
