Multi-plate clutches chatter no matter what you do. It's just how they are designed. The cold versus hot engagement is because the friction material doesn't grab as hard when it's cold. It's exactly like high level race pads. They don't have a lot of friction when they are cold, but will throw your face through the windshield when they get hot. Also, the flywheel for the OSG is a flywheel that only works with OSG stuff. You can't change that out for a non-OSG flywheel.

Update, 3K miles it is better, but not smooth enough, I'll be going to the twin disk with dampers. Anyone know if I will need a different flywheel/pressure plate? or can I just change the disks and loose one of the plates?

I can't seem to find a part number list online to compare the triple disk to the twin disk.

Your best bet would be to talk with OSG USA on that one.
