You can pay for my dyno time
Not sure I follow this, though

In other words, I like to see Z1 repeat the dyno testing on a different car (engine) with all of the same mods.

This would determine if the results were repeatable, or if your results were just the will of the Z gods.

If they could duplicate the results on a different car, that would indicate that the recipe of mods is very well matched and complemented, i.e. “the perfect set up”.

This is common theme when someone provides data on significant gains with any build. The reality is regardless of the car gains will be made with Z1 400 kit. It has been proven over and over already. The degree of the gains will be based on the additional mods you add to that list, the weather, the dyno and your motor. My experience with own build compared to others with similar or the same modes showed my motor made at least 20whp less than most regardless of fuel type. I was disappointed at first but that went away after I drove it and Seb told me the rest of the story and was my motor was a freak on the torque side of the game. Because I was on a stock motor and internals he could not maximize my top end or whp because my tq level could not be held down. Anyway, like John said the results were unexpected but definitely worth sharing. You got to pay your money and take your chances as nothing is a sure thing if you are chasing record type numbers.

Talking

When you are doing work on a motor. It's best to stick to one dyno for all the testing. Baseline and tuning. If you use different dyno's. The results will be fudged.

Johnnydrama has a shot to get you. LOL He is not doing E85 though and it looks like that gained you 10hp.

Jon told me he still believes single exhausts make more power, so maybe mine still has more in it, I don't know. If so, I'm sure it's marginal. Maybe round out to 380 and 300...I just can't quite wrap my head around that. Singles making more power doesn't make sense to me.

When it comes time to rebuild, go with Forged pistons with 12.5:1 and I beat you will hit 400+hp at the wheel. You may want to upgrade the rods too but the factory ones may be just fine. I would use better rod bolts though.

I was really just wanting to get some more power out of it to enjoy while I saved money along. The future of this car, all things permitting, is for it to be force fed. There are a lot of great kits out there that I've looked at, but after what Forged Performance and FI posted up on instagram yesterday, there seems to be one clear option.

You better ready to drop some coin you want to attain those power levels. That’s a 40-50k build and I felt like all aspect still were not covered to support that power.

Maybe not that much but from scratch no less than 35k. Regardless get to drop some serious coin!

I don't necessarily want to shoot for that power level, just that seeing that these kit are steadily being pushed is good to see. Pushing breaks stuff, which opens the opportunity to make it better. I think I'd be pretty content at about 500-550whp, personally.

I don't think I could stand the down time and not having my car for 6-8 months, a year, whatever a build like that takes...buuuuuuut if I were, I've got Kevin's # at FI. Now, about that money...
