DIY Yaw Sensor rocker switch

Can anyone confirm it's the green wire on 2014+....and for any electrically inclined would a reverse polarity switch be ok to use? I can source them locally and they look

Default DIY Yaw Sensor rocker switch

Can anyone confirm it's the green wire on 2014+....and for any electrically inclined would a reverse polarity switch be ok to use? I can source them locally and they look pretty oem. I just don't know if it would hurt anything
