Satin black housings and pearl white shrouds.

What paint brand/primer did you use for these? Satin black krylon fusion?

The paint I've used is from automotivetouchup.com

Many others have used their stuff too it comes to you in spray cans ready to go color matched to your vehicle, they also offer the primer. On my personal headlights I used the Krylon fusion on the housings. Still looks excellent

Just finished mine last night. Thanks for this write up I would not have done it other wise, I think putting the front bumper back on by myself was the hardest part! Also just wanted to add I bought the car with clear film on the headlights
If you also have this, may be good to take it of so it doesn't melt. +1 rep

Great write up man, I'm growing Balls just watching your videos. I'm thinking about doing it next weekend, I figured, Valentine with the GF on Friday, and hopefully she'll leave me alone to do this on Saturday! But a quick question about warranty, I just got the car and I can't stand all that chrome. Will it void my warranty if I take apart my headlights? Anyone know? Thanks Ahead!

Thanks for the write up and videos. I've been really wanting this done, but don't want to pay $$$.

I was mostly curious about the paint. You just used the Krylon Fusion paint from Home Depot / Walmart? I don't necessarily want to match my Pearl White paint on the shrouds but want like a gold/bronze color. Any reason why you put on primer, etc. on the shrouds, but only paint on the reflective housing?

Also, no problems with condensation / paint fading even after two years with no extra sealant?

Hope to do this soon. Maybe buy some halos from retrofitsource and maybe even drill out the housing and add landing strip LEDs. I dunno if I'm getting too ambitious for my first time doing this lol....

Thanks again! Wish you were in H town for some assistance

They came out real nice I'm thinking of just doing black housing and the rest stock.

REALLY need to do this..just realized today how easy the front bumper removal is(for me atleast). Always thought it looked so complicated but it's really not. Time to order some paint matched spray!
