On the 6sp assembly if you unscrew the bottom black plastic piece that's the piece that needs to fit once that piece fits you should be able to screw the 6sp assembly back together and fit it on the console.

The only thing I can see it hitting now is a small white... button of some sort on the left side of the shifter. I have no idea what it does, or how to remove it so I can't cut it. Therefore I have to cut the trim piece which I was hoping to not have to do. I've had it, I'm buying that dremel tomorrow. You watch after I get that though it's only going to take 15 mins and bam I'm done. Although I am noticing the whole console trim piece when in place, doesn't want to sit all the way down. I'm wondering if it won't sit flush once it's mounted.

But I've decided to call it quits for the night and start again tomorrow when there's more daylight. I'll go to Ace and get the dremel set cause with my file it's just taking too long to trim this piece down.
