A major PITA to do, so glad I did it and not shop. To many ways to break stuff and cut corners.

agreed, i would never trust a shop to do this cleanly, i don't trust people with my car lol

You are a madman! I slid out the dash in my 240 once. Don't remember why I was getting in there but I do remember seeing more connections than I wanted to deal with. So... I slid it back in and skipped whatever I was thinking about.
