Swift springs review!!!!!

Gotcha. Well here's to hoping! On the same note, I plan on doing a 20 minute track session at Hyperfest on the 15th. If these are installed late next week,

Gotcha. Well here's to hoping!

On the same note, I plan on doing a 20 minute track session at Hyperfest on the 15th. If these are installed late next week, should I get the alignment prior to the session or will it be too soon or will I be better off with the extra camber? I'd really like to hit the track with the springs on. Springs on the base/touring are too bouncy. I'd feel ridiculous on the track otherwise. lol

Pushing things kind of close there. I'm not sure I'd want to drive 4-5 hours up and back with a track session in between without that alignment. You may end up needing a new set of tires when you get home...lol. If it were me and I "had" to have the springs on for Hyperfest, I'd set up an alignment the day before I left. Worst case scenario, they aren't completely settled and you gotta pay another $75 alignment down the road. Sometimes ya gotta pay if ya wanna play.... Just my opinion though.

Oh I agree completely. No problem doing another alignment. Just trying to go with the best approach. Thanks!

Here's my Lady in (Magma) Red on Swifts, I was thinking on spacers, 15mm on front and 20mm on the back, is this a nice combo? Don't want to go too wide in front cause of the bad roads here in Puerto Rico.

I have the exact setup but have not installed any of it yet. Wanted to hear a few more opinions as most say this is THE best setup... If you get it done, post some of the pics for us still standing on the curb biting our nails...

I'm running H&R 20mm up front and 25mm in the rear. The roads aren't exactly perfect here in Guam, but I'm still very satisfied with the spacers.

Hey brotha, I read a post that you posted earlier about you getting passed the noise or something to that effect. Just wondering what noise you talking about. I ordered the same springs and still waiting for them to arrive. Also, who did your install? and who did your alignment? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late response. Yeah, I get some squeaking sounds from the coils compressing but that's totally normal for aftermarket springs. Even the Eibach Pro Kit I had on my other car made the sound, though not as noticeable. Maybe I simply got used to the sound or I play my music louder, but I rarely hear it.

A Nissan dealership installed my springs and performed my alignment. I really wish the springs were lower though. Regarding spacers, I'm thinking about switching from 20mm to 25mm up front. The tires slightly rub on the tab between the bumper and fender liner during full suspension compression anyways (while going straight)--might as well go wider.

Saludos desde Cayey, Nice to know there are some folks from Puerto Rico here, we should gather sometime. Anyway how does the car handles in these roads of ours, I would like to lower mine, but still debating. im sure I'll be scrapping all the time

I thought I would be scraping all over the place too, since driving a pick up truck and going to the 370Z. But once you get to know the cars height with the springs you just know where you can go through. You're going to scrape the lip of the front bumper, the black part, but scraping the paint It will have to be a really big pot hole or something. But here in PR anything is possible

Would love to see your car. And have an idea. Did u use camber arms in the back? Did u stay with stock spec alignment? Would be cool to make a meet and greet here. Im Carlos wont say no jejeje

Default 370 Roadster with Swift Springs

I've had my swifts on my roadster w/sport package for about 1,000 miles. Love them. Car is much more planted and stable while not adding any harshness. A terrific addition to this car and highly recommended.

I've attached my alignment results in case anyone is interested. Surprising what a mess the pre-alignment measurements were. Hard to imagine why lightly driven car with 10k miles would be so out of whack. Its all good now.

You definitely feel that you have springs, in that there's no body roll and the car doesn't hop all over the place like you see some cars over here in PR. Let me know one day if you want to look at the car and maybe pull the trigger on the Swifts.
