Unhappy Noise coming from Endlinks

Hello everyone,

I've been experiencing noises coming from my endlinks...
it only happens whenever I enter/exit any type of driveways like getting into plazas, gas stations, etc.

I took pictures of the front after turning the wheel all the way.

from the picture, driver side looks fine but passenger side looks like it will pop out or something.. (didn't have a chance to take a picture of the rear ones.. will post it later)

To me, it doesn't look right and the shop that did an adjustment on mine told me that there will always be noises when modifying suspension parts, but i mean it just doesn't sound and look right..

hope someone can give me an answer or tell me what to do.. :S

P.S: below is current suspension setup

BC Racing BR coilovers
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars
SPL front and rear end links.

Disconnect the swaybar links at the swaybar. Move them around to feel for any play. If you feel some slop in them. Time for a replacement.

The other thing is that your swaybar is making the noise in the bushings. Common problem. The fix is to wrap the bushing areas on the swaybar with plumper's teflon thread tape, just one wrap will do it. Then smear the area with grease. Then reinstall.
Spartan 1771 and Ghostvette like this.

I recently got mine though like about a month ago.. but yeah I will try to do what you told me! or have the shop do that for me since I suck at working on any type of suspension work by myself lol

If the end links are a month old. I go with the swaybar making noise. If the shop tells you that they greased the swaybar. It will still make noises. Get them to wrap the teflon thread tape around the swaybar where the bushings sit.

Ever since I had my suspension components installed there is a pop when I make sharp low speed turns. Greased everything I could think of and double checked all the joints, just living with it.

Same here. I took them off, re-tightened and re-did pretty much everything and they still make the noise (slow, sharp turns). I've just learned to deal with it.

I'd start by clocking the driver's side end link so that it's not binding. Orient it like the passenger side link.

They do move around some. Everytime I look at mine. They're different. The main thing is that they are allowed to move. You don't want bound up. Where you have one all the way one way, and the other all the way the other way. You want them centered after adjustment and locked.

Thank you everyone for the comments! I guess I should just get used to the noise and see how it goes.. one quick question tho! would the oem end links be okay with aftermarket thicker sway bars? i heard some saying it will break sooner than I think.

In your pictures that you posted. The 1st pic looks fine. The 2nd pic. It's fine too. You can just twist it a little to center both ends up.

Aren't the conical aluminum spacer supposed to be on the control arm end?
