I rebuilt EW's calipers. Air makes it easy to pop the pistons out. After you split the caliper into 2 halves. Use 2 clamps to keep the pistons from flying

I rebuilt EW's calipers. Air makes it easy to pop the pistons out. After you split the caliper into 2 halves. Use 2 clamps to keep the pistons from flying out of the halves.
You have to watch what chemicals you use to clean the housing with. Fresh brake cleaner will remove the coating. The only caliper rebuild kit that I know that has the o-ring that goes between the caliper halves is Z1.
