I is an engineer.

Got degree's in welding and mechanical.

Plus criminal justice.

I don't play one on tv nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Some engineers just suck. They have no personality. When in college. They are taught analytical thinking. Most don't take any social classes to help them in public. So they have a hard time being with someone who is not an engineer. Most read something in a book, so then it's the gospel. Even if it's wrong.

And they think they're right all the time.

Most have no hands on experience. They can't tell the difference between a metric crescent wrench and a standard crescent wrench.

You probably know more about one topic than I know about all... and Im not being sarcastic! Similar to what someone said above, life experience trumps book smarts.

A lot can be said about life experiences. As long as you can remember on how badly you screwed up the first time, and don't want to repeat it the second time.
