Hello, one question regarding this....is there a compatible brake master cylinder for 370z? As far as I understand, as long as it's strong enough and it fits to the brake booster, it should work, right? Asking this, because it might take a pretty long while until I can get a Z brake master cylinder.

Also, if I understand correctly, brake bleeding it before installation means that you can keep the fluid in the brakes, or it needs to be fully replaced as well? Asking this, because i JUST replaced the brake fluid and I believe it's been bled correctly, thought the brake pedal acts weird....leading me to think that the cylinder might've failed. So I'd replace only that, not necessarily ALL the fluid again.

Thanks!

If your master cylinder is failing. Pump the brake pedal a couple of times to build pressure. Then step on and pedal and try to push it to the floor. If it goes to the floor. It might take a while. It's either toast or you have air in the system.

You have to take in account of the bore diameter of the master cylinder. You could end up with a hard pedal and no brakes. Or a soft pedal with lots of brake.

You still have to bleed the brakes after installing a bench bled master cylinder. I start on the RR inner bleeder first, then the outer. Over to the LR inner, then outer. Up to the RF inner, then outer. Over to the LF inner, then outer. Then I repeat the whole process. Never let the reservoir go dry.
