I run the Carbotech XP10/8 setup daily in all weather right now. The dust is pretty bad, and the noise can get loud, but damn do they stop when you need it. The only time I feel they can't do well from dead cold is when im trying to do a full on threshold stop. But they heat up in a couple turns.
The Hawk HP+ is one of the go-to pads for autocross, but will overheat quickly on a road course. Also, they can be louder than the Carbotech's and their dust is corrosive, unlike Carbotech. I will be going to an XP12/10 setup here soon for ZdayZ, and I will be driving daily on them as well. |
