Default Base rear brake dust/heat shield and installing sports brake kit

Hello all,

I have base Z and just got set of sports brakes.
I've been searching but haven't find good answer to my concern about
rear brake dust/heat shield.

I believe base rear brake shield is too small for rear sports brake rotors.
What option do I have to take care of it?
Please reply!

Thank you in advance.

I think your options are obvious, either buy the sport shields, bend the base ones out of the way, or leave them off.

Tin Snips to take off the "lip" of the dust shields and just leave the backing there. This allows for some shielding and larger diameter rotors as well.
