Nissan's participation has been known since CarPlay was announced back in February, as I mentioned in my OP. Unfortunately, it doesn't help anyone here unless Nissan plans a firmware update.

Nissan's participation has been known since CarPlay was announced back in February, as I mentioned in my OP. Unfortunately, it doesn't help anyone here unless Nissan plans a firmware update. I would pay $150 in a heartbeat to get CarPlay retro'd on my 2014. Wouldn't even consider it for Nissan's extremely lame Navigation system map update.
