I think being able to switch component video input into that plug and play harness would make more sense. If it is designed to be relay driven, another set of poles on the relay to switch audio inputs will do the trick.
Doing the above would allow audio & video input from an iPod Touch or iPhone after purchasing the iPod to component cable from the Apple store.

We are talking about different things here, this is nothing to do with video inputs. This is to allow bypass the restriction on entering Nav commands and using video input while drive. As well as being able to view the rear view camera without engaging reverse.
