I just took my car to the dealer today because with less than 2700 miles since the last oil change the car consumed 1 qt of oil. Their recomendation was

I just took my car to the dealer today because with less than 2700 miles since the last oil change the car consumed 1 qt of oil.
Their recomendation was to change the oil every 3 months... Ester Oil.  They say that my car is going on the list of Oil Consumption Problem Program so they can monitor the issue :dunno:.
