Default '11 Black 370Z Single Turbo 35k miles + Extra Wheels

I bought this car from another forum member here 18 months ago while I worked on my Evo build, and it's been amazing, but now that my Evo's done, it sits in the garage collecting dust. It's time for it to find someone else to love it.

I bought it for $31k, but make me a decent offer and we can talk.

nitty gritties:
35,670 miles, clean build (described below), comes with the Rays Eng forged wheels that came on it and also the WORK Meister that I put on it. The paint is good except for some light scratches on the bumper and a small scratch on the door that the previous owner had professionally corrected. There's some light crazing/ cracking on the carbon fiber lip. They're hard to photograph but I'm happy to point out in person.

the build:
Rock-solid. The car has great daily-driving road manners. It runs on pump gas, idles nicely even with the a/c on, and has two boost settings so that you get great fuel mileage as you scream down the highway in 6th gear. Schoolchildren could use the clutch.

weird?
I'm putting new fender liners in this week so I think it'll fix the problem, but sometimes when it rains heavily while you're driving, the marker lights come on and the windows roll down a little. I think it's a short in the ground from water getting in there, but it happens so infrequently that it's hard to troubleshoot.

what else?

Oh, right - so I've lightly tinted the rear lights since these photographs were taken, and the windows have been returned to legal tint after too many tickets for it.

seeing it:
The car's in Harrisonburg, VA, but I frequently am not —*I travel a lot for work. I'm happy to show it in person but the scheduling might be hairy, and because of my schedule, no tire kickers, please. Shoot me a PM.

This was the one that someone (you?) had written about over on Jalopnik, right?

Yeah, that was me! The one about how strange and cheaty it felt to buy a car already built (and yes, I understand the irony now I'm trying to convince someone else to buy it, already built).

If I were selling a boosted Z, I would have a compression test and leakdown test done, as well as an oil analysis. Then I'd post the sheets up as proof of life for the motor. People get iffy about buying these cars with boost, they figure it's been wrung out within an inch of its life. A boosted Z is a hard sell. Make it easy on them.

Yes and no? The wrap is underneath all the spray paint, done by 50 strangers on a street in Nashville:

It's a long story. I have another wrap sitting in my bedroom for whenever I get home long enough to have it put on.

But yes, I adore it. I understand why they're not for everyone, and I've been told the 9s are better than the Xs. But I rallied for a bit and I still love a car I can throw into dirt when I want to, and one that feels like a twitchy, torquey heart attack, and this one with a 2.2 is all of that. I wish I could build it bigger, is the only thing —*I'm told they start to blow up if you get them past 600 or so —*but in the 450-500 range, it's pretty delightful. You put it in a corner at a stupid speed and it's there for you.

It's a very different car than the Z.

I was curious if this car sold and at what price? I love the look of this Z. It actually has me wanting back into the Z club, but with boost.
